Meet the Rescued Pit Bulls

Mona, as what volunteers call her, has one of the calmest dispositions amongst the dogs at the Center. She has a slight hip problem which makes it hard for her to go on long walks. A quick 15-to-20-minute walk is sufficient for her, after which she would much rather stay indoors and enjoy the company of humans. She is slightly vision-impaired, which may make her a bit anxious in the presence of some dogs, but that doesn’t stop her from being curious about everything around her. Mona will still require daily walks to keep her in shape, but she may be the perfect home companion, maybe even in a studio apartment.
